How to Find the Right Part for Your Car

How to Find the Right Part for Your Car

Nothing slows down a repair like ordering the wrong part. The good news is that getting it right is simple once you know what to give us.

Start with the basics: year, make, model, and trim. A 2018 Camry LE and a 2018 Camry XSE can use different parts, so the trim matters more than people expect. You will usually find the trim on the rear badge of the car or in your owner's manual.

For the most accurate match, send us your VIN — the 17-character Vehicle Identification Number found on the driver's side dashboard where it meets the windshield, on the door jamb sticker, and on your registration. The VIN tells us the exact engine, transmission, and factory options, which is critical for engines, transmissions, and electronics.

For body and trim parts, the paint code (on the door jamb sticker) helps us match color. And whenever possible, send a photo of the old part or the area you are repairing. A picture clears up questions faster than a paragraph of description.

Send us those details and we will check the yard and confirm exactly what we have before you commit to anything.
